Welcome to Studio348. Since 2001, I have been helping women improve and change their lives through fitness instruction and proper nutrition. My experience began with my own weight loss journey, 17 years ago.

I began dieting and exercising in the 6th grade and was very unsuccessful with both for several years. At age 16, I went to the doctor hoping for a slow thyroid so I could simply take a pill and cure my "problem." To my dismay, my thyroid was fine, but unfortunately I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and pre-diabetes. I was told that if I "didn't change my ways, I wouldn't live to be 30 years old."

Two years later (yes it took that long), I hired a personal trainer who changed the entire direction of my life. I lost 65 lbs. and realized that the The 3 C's, Consistent Exercise, Clean Eating, and Caring Accountability were the key to sustainable weight loss. I stand by that message today. I'm well into my 30's and have healthy blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugars.
